Registration is now open for Sebring Thunder VIII – September 15-17, 2017.
Last year was the biggest event ever. It is expected that 2017 will be even bigger and more fun. There are more car categories. The registration will be held on the Circle in the Sebring Chamber office again. So, car owners can pick up their packets or do walk-in registration right at the show. But, you may want to register before July 31. Early registration saves $10 on the registration fee and includes an event T-shirt.

Sebring Thunder 2017 will offer more opportunities for car entries to win trophies. The planning committee has expanded the categories of Mustangs, Corvettes and Camaros to differentiate between major body style changes. This will offer better opportunities for car owners to compete with more similar cars. This increases the number of trophies to be awarded. There are 28 categories with first and second place trophies to be awarded.

This year’s Sebring Thunder car show/ burnout/ drive the Sebring Raceway event promises to be another great show. Pre-registrations are ahead of last year. There are 20 Mustangs and 15 Corvettes plus many cars in the other 16 categories. Burnout drivers need to be getting their registrations turned in to secure their spot in the Friday night burnout.
New to this year, there are also door prize drawings for the registered car owners. One lucky car owner will receive a 2-night stay at the Residence Inn (good through next year’s Sebring Thunder). Other drawings include things like $25 gas cards, car cleaning kits, T-shirts, $25 grocery cards $25 restaurant cards and more.
Walk-ins registrations are accepted, but registering in advance is encouraged. We want to make sure we have enough welcome bags packed.
See you at the Thunder!
We have challenged Mustang owners to register all 50 years of Mustang history. But, I have Corvette friends who think they can do the same thing. So here is the challenge: There will be a street of designated spaces for Corvettes. We don’t usually designate a whole street for one type of car, but since we are doing a challenge, we are reserving a street for Corvettes! The first paid registration for a year model will get to park in the designated space for that year. Corvette actually has 61 years of history, so I know some of you are thinking you can absolutely fill 50 years – maybe more!
This will be great fun for the attendees and car owners. It should be awesome for the press too.
To register click here. If you want to use a credit card and email your registration, be sure to complete the credit card authorization form also.
To celebrate the 50 years of Mustang, Sebring Thunder is challenging Mustang owners to show all 50 years of the Mustang history! Check back often to see what years have been registered.

Welcome to Sebring Thunder V website. This is the central place for event info for the 2014 event.
We are very excited about this year’s event. It is expected to be larger than ever.
It will be fun to see which car club wins the award for the most cars registered for the show. Last year the Mustangs won with the Ponies in Paradise club. Since it is the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, will they win again or will another club overcome them? Cars must be registered by Aug 31 for their entry to be included in the club count. Registering by August 31 will also ensure that you get a free T-shirt with your registration.
Last year the burnout was a blast with a full field of cars. It was a smoky and loud night of fun followed by a live band. The limit is 50 cars this year. So if the burnout sounds like something you would like to do, make sure to check the box on your registration form.
Start counting down to the day of the show: September 19-21, 2014. See you there!
